New Students: We have been staying very busy lately! Those wishing to join the show team will get first consideration at this time. Please check our riding instructor's schedules listed below for any openings.
Laine Brook Farm is a riding school offering lessons for all ages and experience of riders.
**We do NOT offer public trail riding experiences. We do suggest trying Honey Lee Ranch, Roman Nose State Park or Silverwind Stables if you are aiming for a get on and go outdoor adventure.**
Beginners are started in a flat seat english saddle and learn the importance of control and balance with the horse. Time is taken to teach safe handling on the ground, how to groom, and saddle.
As riders progress they may want to try horse shows or a new riding style. Ask Karen or Alex about either to see what great options there are for you!
Tiny Trotters (ages 5/under) $120
4 lessons/month lasting 1 hour maximum. 10-15 minutes to tack the horse, 15-20 minutes of riding and 10-20 minutes to unsaddle and brush the horse.
Private/Semi-Private (ages 6-106) $150
4 lessons/month lasting between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours. This time includes brushing before and after, tacking, untacking and a 30 minute riding lesson.
Bonus Riders $300
2-3 lessons/week; riders will receive 1 private lesson along with a private, semi-private, group and/or lunge-line lesson. Limited to a single student. Perfect for the student wanting to be prepared and have that extra competitive edge for show season.
Individual and EPIC Lessons $40
Tiny trotter, beginner or advanced lesson paid on a single time individual basis. Perfect for when you'll be away on vacation 1/2 the month or for a single introductory lesson to decide if you would like to enroll in full time lessons! EPIC lessons are billed directly to EPIC, this little extra bit helps cover our manager's time when it comes to processing and communication with EPIC.
Call or email to inquire about availability, lessons are taught Monday-Saturday.
LOOKY HERE! If any lesson during the month is missed without notice the lesson will be forfeited. If you must miss a lesson, 24 hour notice is required. Only exception is illness, weather or other emergency.
Makeup lessons must be scheduled within a 2 week period or the missed lesson will be forfeited. Scheduling a make-up is the responsibility of the lesson student!
We are very understanding when "life" happens, but we do require a notice and hope that you can help by respecting our time.
****PLEASE NOTE**** If you arrive late for your lesson or are slow to prepare this cuts into your riding time! You are encouraged to arrive early if you are capable of getting and preparing your own horse. If you need assistance please arrive on time or up to 10 minutes early.
Tuition must be paid on the 1st or 15th of each month.
